Philosophy
The Abundant Life Network ministry model is grounded in a philosophy that identifies anomy (social disconnection/instability), without a grounded support network, as the underlying cause of unsocial behaviors up to and including crime. Intervention strategies, based on a Christian foundation, and administered in different phases, address this underlying problem by focusing on the restoration of the abundant life they could have.
The Organization--The Abundant Life Network
The Abundant Life Network is a faith-based, non-profit organization that enables socially disadvantaged individuals (and only if they are highly motivated towards positive change) to become productive citizens by completing a holistic program, which meets the physical, the emotional, the intellectual and the spiritual needs of people with broken spirits. This non-profit organization was formed on August 30th 2001. Application for 501c3 status was completed on October 200.

We pledge to our clients, volunteers, and supporters, a program that is grounded in compassion, delivered with professionalism, and sustained with encouragement.
Target Population
Socially disadvantaged females (homeless, underprivileged, working poor, recovering substance abuse addicts, ex-incarcerated, and HIV affected) who are highly motivated in pursuing a fresh start in living the abundant life. Client applications will be accepted via referrals from Churches, Chaplains and Community-based organizations. All applications will be screened and checked for eligibility and integrity.
Criteria for The Abundant Life Network Client Candidates:
- Must be categorized as socially disadvantaged female adults (near poverty, homeless, recovering addict/no income, ex-incarcerated etc.)
- Can be on probation or parole, (no sex-offenders accepted)
- Clients cannot attend off-site meetings without the express approval of Staff
- Must be highly motivated to want to turn their lives around
- Must be willing to adhere to the rules/policies/curriculum and procedures of the program
- Screening for any long-term contagious diseases. If any is found, candidate will be denied entry to program due to ensuring a health-conscious environment.
- Initial program focuses on females only
- Must be 18 years or older
